Samanta_Pink GO GO GO!

Loading...

Grazie 😊

In 2016, a few days before my birthday, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, which was removed two months later, a few days before my daughter's birthday. The awareness of the disease, the surgery, the therapies, every mood since that August 17, 2016 have been lived in function of and in relation to my daughter with the desire to protect her, continue to love her, watch her grow. Gibran, poet I adore, writes: "Life is not a matter of how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain."I dealt with cancer not by choice, but by necessity, and it was not easy; now I have chosen to embark on this adventure as a Pink Ambassador to demonstrate to myself that I can also run this marathon (which will be an half-marathon actually 😉) and to my daughter and those who love me that together we can make a difference, supporting the clinical research that allowed me to win my battle."What we do is a drop in the ocean, but if we don't, the ocean would have one drop less" (Mother Teresa). I ask you to donate, supporting my fundraiser even with a small drop, which will help the clinical research to win many other battles!

Thank you all 😊
