Aiutaci come il Team Sky a liberare il Mar Mediterraneo dalla plastica!

I rifiuti marini sono una delle questioni ambientali che sollevano la maggior preoccupazione in tutto il mondo. Nel Mar Mediterraneo gli effetti dei rifiuti marini sugli organismi marini e le possibili conseguenze sulle catene trofiche sono stati poco studiati rispetto ad altri ecosistemi marini (ad esempio l'Oceano Pacifico), anche se dati recenti mostrano che il Mediterraneo è uno dei mari più esposti a questa minaccia emergente (UNEP / MAP, 2015).
Questo crowdfounding è volto a finanziare il lavoro di un ricercatore su questo progetto, che rappresenta un passo importante per aumentare le conoscenze disponibili sull'impatto dei rifiuti marini, in particolare le microplastiche, sulle specie ittiche mediterranee, sul relativo impatto sulla pesca, sulle conseguenze sulle specie commestibili e commerciali e sulle possibili conseguenze sulla salute umana.

RCS attraverso questo crowdfunding mette a disposizione pettorali di prima griglia per la Granfondo Strade Bianche 2019, gestiti dal Rotary Club Montaperti Castelnuovo Berardenga con quota minima da sottoscrivere per il diritto al pettorale fissata in € 200. Marine litter is one of the environmental issues that raise the most concern around the world. In the Mediterranean Sea the effects of marine litter on marine organisms and the possible consequences on the trophic chains have been little studied compared to other marine ecosystems (for example the Pacific Ocean), although recent data show that the Mediterranean is one of the most exposed seas to this emerging threat (UNEP / MAP, 2015 )This crowdfunding is aimed at financing the work of a researcher on this project is an important step to increase the knowledge available on the impact of marine litter, in particular microplastics, on Mediterranean fish species, its impact on fishing, the consequences on edible species and trade and on the possible consequences on human health.
