We have finished our first Rally Montecarlo Historique, the first italian female team to achieve this result! But the solidarity challenge goes on!  READ ON FOR THE FULL STORY BELOW

80: this was our position in the ranking after the second day of racing and after the super tough concentration leg.  25 hours of non-stop driving from Montecarlo to Valence and 6 very technical stages including the notorious Bourzet-Bourzet.  But the third day of race had more surprises for us.. After having done very well in the very difficult 9th stage, we got the the 10th Special in the woods of the Echarasson pass with high spirits.  We were managing to keep the 44 km/h average speed on the snow, when we had to stop.  over 40 cars were stuck in the woods behind a driver who lost control of his vehicle and was not able to move it.  All the 40 crews involved got the top penalties (20 k) and we had to give our ranking ambitions. But not our desire to complete the Rallye. After 2 more days of racing, and having lost our wipers engine (burnt, with smoke in the car!!), and some carburation mishaps, we finally got to the arrival on the Port of Montecarlo at 4:30 am on the 7th of February!

The first Italian female team to complete the Montecarlo!  But the challenge goes on: please help me make the new, important website for Europa Donna become a reality.  It will provide very important, authoritative and user-friendly information that is now lacking, to all women (and men) with breast cancer and to their families. A practical and supportive website which will materially improve the quality of their life during therapy. It is important!!
