Man has always been characterized by the desire to know, to cross thresholds, to reach the moon, like the first pioneers who ventured into the unknown West driven by the desire to make the boundless prairie their home. The exhibition transports to the heart of the American experiment, paradigm of the experience of modern man who yearns for the infinite and tries to build a more beautiful and more just world, but in the dramatic impact with reality he ends up seeking refuge in a secure bubble. Immersive installations lead to the encounter with stories of lights and shadows, men and women who in the last two centuries have tried to answer the questions raised by the challenges of increasingly complex events.
