E' una questione di cuore. Lo sapevi che ogni anno nel mondo nascono 1 milione di bambini affetti da malformazioni congenite al cuore? E che 800.000 di loro nascono nei Paesi più poveri, dove non hanno accesso a cure mediche e chirurgiche tempestive? La metà di loro è destinata a non raggiungere il primo anno di vita. Gli altri vanno incontro a gravi problemi di crescita e di sviluppo psicosomatico, a causa di handicap respiratori e circolatori.

Il progetto "Cuore di bimbi" è sostenuto da Mission Bambini, una fondazione di cui sono volontario da anni e che contribuisce concretamente a progetti incredibili per i bambini in tutto il mondo, con risultati reali che ho avuto l'onore di toccare con mano con le mie esperienze di volontariato in Thailandia e nelle Filippine.

Con il progetto "Cuore di bimbi" in 12 anni Mission Bambini ha salvato 1.861 bambini con un’operazione al cuore e ne ha visitati altri 14.935. Ma ce ne sono ancora tanti altri da salvare! 

Per questo ho colto al volo la proposta dando il mio piccolo battito a sostegno di questa campagna.

Vi chiedo di aiutarmi con una donazione a ridare il giusto ritmo al cuore di tanti bambini che aspettano di poter ripartire con la propria vita.

It is a matter of the heart.

Did you know that every year 1 million children are born with a congenital heart disease? And did you know that 800.000 of them are born in countries where they cannot access proper medical and surgical care to cure their condition? Half of them are unlikely to survive the first year of their life. The other half will face severe psychosomatic development issues due to respiratory and circulatory problems.

The “Children’s heart” is a program funded and organized by Mission Bambini, a foundation I have been volunteering for many years. Mission Bambini supports many programs all around the world and the results they achieve are real, as I had the chance to witness during my experiences as a volunteer in Thailand and in the Philippines.

In the 12 years the “Children’s heart” program has been going on, Mission Bambini helped 1.861 children to get surgery and 14.935 children could access medical care for their heart condition. Many more though could still be saved!

This is why I accepted this challenge at once and decided to join the beat and support this campaign.
