Raccolta fondi di Natale

Ciao! Sono Benedetta e ho deciso di dare il mio contributo per aiutare Project for People nel suo obiettivo: il miglioramento delle condizioni di vita di oltre un milione di beneficiari, soprattutto donne e bambini, in ambito sanitario, educativo, economico.

Questo Natale ho attivato la mia prima raccolta fondi solidale a sostegno delle famiglie che sono state maggiormente colpite dall’emergenza sanitaria COVID-19 in India, paese ormai tristemente famoso per essere ai vertici delle classifiche mondiali per numero di contagi.

Project for People, in collaborazione con il partner locale Institute for Indian Mother & Child, ha realizzato campi di primo soccorso nei villaggi rurali a sud di Calcutta, fornendo cure e kit con beni di prima necessità ai beneficiari più bisognosi. Purtroppo però la povertà continua a dilagare e il numero di famiglie in grave difficoltà cresce ogni giorno.

Ogni kit vale € 10 e contiene riso, dhal, soia chunk, patate, cipolle, zucchero, biscotti, sapone, mascherine e materiali scolastici per bambini e aiuta una famiglia di 4 persone per 5 giorni.

Con il tuo aiuto vorrei donare 80 kit di beni di prima necessità a 80 famiglie in difficoltà e fornire un supporto, forse piccolo, ma concreto, nella lotta contro la povertà.

Hi! I am Benedetta and I have decided to give my contribution to the pursuit of Project for People’s mission: to improve the living conditions of more than one million beneficiaries, especially women and children, in the fields of health, education and economics.

This Christmas I have started my first solidarity fundraising in order to support families who suffered the most from the COVID-19 emergency in India. In fact, this country is among the most-affected nations with the highest number of Covid-19 cases.

Project for people, in cooperation with the local partner Institute for Indian Mother & Child, built first-aid camps in rural villages south of Kolkata and is currently providing care and distributing kits containing basic necessities. The beneficiaries of this project are families in condition of extreme poverty, which was exacerbated by the outbreak of COVID-19. The number of people in serious difficulty grows every day.

Each kit is worth € 10 and provides rice, dhal, soy chunks, potatoes, onions, sugar, biscuits, soap, masks and school material for a family of 4 for 5 days.

With your help I would like to provide 80 kits of basic necessities for 80 families in distress and give a little yet concrete contribution to the fight against poverty.
