una Venezia piu' accessibile e inclusiva

A ottobre 2022 ho partecipato alla Venice Marathon come runner solidale a sostegno dei progetti dell’associazione Red Carpet for All, che si impegna con grande tenacia a rendere la città più accessibile per le persone con disabilità. È stata un’esperienza meravigliosa, non solo una divertente manifestazione sportiva, ma soprattutto l’opportunità di dare sostegno a un progetto in cui credo.

Le belle esperienze vanno ripetute e quindi anche quest’anno parteciperò alla Venice Marathon del 22 ottobre indossando ancora una volta la maglia di Red Carpet for All.

I progetti promossi da Red Carpet for All sono molteplici e ti invito a consultare la pagina www.redcarpetforall.org per conoscerli. Un esempio fra tanti: grazie al lavoro dell’associazione, ora tutte le persone con difficoltà motorie possono superare i ponti alle Zattere e a San Zaccaria.

MA c’è ancora molto da fare per superare tante altre barriere, oltre quelle architettoniche.

In October 2022, I participated in the Venice Marathon in support of the Red Carpet for All association projects, which are dedicated to making the city more accessible for people with disabilities. It was a wonderful experience, not just a fun sports event, but above all, an opportunity to support a project I believe in.

As great experiences should be repeated, this year I will again participate in the Venice Marathon on October 22nd wearing a Red Carpet for All jersey.

You can read about Red Carpet for All projects here  www.redcarpetforall.org. As an example, thanks to the association's efforts, people with physical disabilities can now cross the bridges at Zattere and San Zaccaria.
