A Brescia, si terrà il 10° Simposio Internazionale sulla riparazione e rigenerazione delle Lesioni del Midollo Spinale con i principali esperti nel campo della neurorigenerazione, neuroriparazione e Biorobotica per la cura delle lesioni del Midollo Spinale.

Per promuovere, condividere e sostenere l’edizione 2018 del “Symposium sulle Lesioni del Midollo Spinale 4.0” la Fondazione Giorgio Brunelli lancia un progetto di crowdfunding.

La campagna di crowdfunding è anche l’occasione per raccontare, nel corso delle settimane, le tante attività realizzate nel corso di questi anni, i protagonisti delle precedenti edizioni del Symposium, i risultati delle sperimentazioni e dare memoria, all’intenso lavoro di ricerca scientifica e clinica realizzato dal prof. Giorgio Brunelli e dalla sua fondazione. Il primo step della campagna è raccogliere € 10.000. 

Da oltre 30 anni la Fondazione Giorgio Brunelli fa ricerca di base e applicata per trovare una soluzione alle lesioni del midollo spinale. Le attvità di ricerca  (elencati qui), si svolgono presso l'Università degli Studi di Brescia e  con molte realtà europee  A questi congressi partecipano ricercatori e scienziati da tutto il mondo, tra cui Premi Nobel con Letture Magistrali su tematiche di grande attualità ed utilità per il progresso della ricerca scientifica nel campo delle Neuroscienze.

In memoria del Nobel Rita Levi Montalcini, Presidente onoraria della Fondazione, nel Symposium del 2015 è stato istituito l'Award “Remembering Rita” per il miglior lavoro presentato da giovani ricercatori.

La novità della decima edizione consiste nell'aumentare la diffusione e la visibilità grazie a strumenti interattivi, webinar e I.T.C. che connetteranno docenti e discenti, con la finalità prima e ultima di divulgare il più possibile ciò che oggi in tutto il mondo si fa per la cura della persone disabili.

10° Symposium on Spinal Cord 4.0

The 10th International Symposium on repair and regeneration on spinal cord lesions will take place in Brescia with the main experts in the field of neuroregeneration, neurorepair and biorobotics to cure the spinal cord lesions.

What is the current situation as regards the treatment of paraplegia and tetraplegia like?

What future perspectives does research provide to improve the quality of the lives of those affected by spinal cord lesions?

What are the most interesting lines of research internationally?

What are the technological innovations in the field of biorobotics to replace sensitivity and movement?

What are the new frontiers of sport integration for disabled people?

To promote, share and support the 2018 edition of the “Symposium on Spinal Cord Lesions 4.0” the Fondazione Giorgio Brunelli launches a crowdfunding project.

The crowdfunding campaign is also the chance to talk, throughout the weeks, about the several activities carried out over these years, the protagonists of the previous editions of the Symposium, the results of the experiments and to remember the hard work of scientific and clinical research done by Prof. Giorgio Brunelli and his foundation. The first step of the campaign is to raise 10,000 Euros.. 

The Fondazione Giorgio Brunelli has been doing basic and applied research for 30 years in order to find a solution to spinal cord lesions. The results of the research (listed here), at the Università degli Studi di Brescia, include the collaboration of several  European and international organisations.

Researchers and scientists from around the world attend these congresses, including Nobel Prize winners with  lectures on important current affairs that are useful for the progress of scientific research in the field of Neurosciences.

The “Remembering Rita” award for the best work presented by young researchers was established at the Symposium in 2015, in memory of Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi Montalcini, Honorary President of the Foundation.

The novelty of the tenth edition consists of increasing the diffusion and the visibility thanks to interactive tools,  webinars and I.T.C. which will connect teachers and students and with the first and foremost goal to spread as much as possible what is being done today to cure disabled people all over the world.
