Speranza per le vittime del terremoto

Il tessuto produttivo e sociale creato dalla passione, volontà e orgoglio, e dall’amore per la propria terra di quei giovani che hanno deciso di restare è stato messo in ginocchio dal terremoto del 24 agosto.

Il terremoto del 24 agosto non ha distrutto solo vite umane, abbattuto case, ma ha anche lacerato il tessuto produttivo fatto di microimprese e cooperative delle quali più di 1000 hanno subìto danni ingenti ed hanno bisogno di aiuti per ripartire. Inoltre, il terremoto ha lacerato anche il tessuto sociale di comunità montane già soggette al fenomeno dello spopolamento.

Per questo motivo il Lions Club Milano Galleria, Distretto IB4, si è attivato per aprire una pagina di raccolta fondi che, in relazione all’entità dell’importo raccolto e attraverso una selezione, saranno destinati alle ristrutturazioni aziendali o a nuovi progetti, così da offrire a giovani imprenditori e cooperative l’opportunità di ripartire e ricreare quel tessuto sociale - imprenditoriale danneggiato dal terremoto.

In modo tale da offrire ai giovani la speranza che ci sia un futuro migliore, che esista un domani che significhi normalità.

The social and economic fabric made by the local young people’s passion, pride and love for their own land was destroyed by the earthquake of 24 August 2016.

Not only did that earthquake destroy human lives and buildings but it also ruined the production of small companies and cooperatives. More than 1000 of those enterprises had seriously been damaged and now need help to start again. Moreover, the earthquake had also torn mountain communities which had already been affected by the phenomenon of depopulation.

For these reasons, the Lions Club Milano Galleria, Distretto IB4, has started gathering funds that, in relation to the final sum and after a due selection, will support either the reconstruction of existing companies or new projects. In this way we will be able to offer young entrepreneurs and cooperatives the opportunity to start again and reconstruct the social fabric which was damaged by the earthquake.
