In 5 slum urbani di Vijayawada, nello stato dell’Andhra Pradesh in India, ogni giorno bambini e ragazzi cercano un posto sicuro in cui imparare, crescere e sognare un domani diverso. Il contesto in cui vivono è difficile: lavoro minorile, vita di strada, matrimoni precoci sono realtà con cui si confrontano troppo presto. 
Ma proprio qui, grazie al tuo sostegno, possiamo accendere una luce: quella dell’ascolto, della cura, dell’istruzione.

Oggi sono 1.330 i minori che accompagniamo con attività di doposcuola, laboratori creativi, pasti nutrienti e percorsi per conoscere e difendere i propri diritti.

Con la Milano Marathon 2026 vogliamo rafforzare le attività in queste 8 scuole e garantire continuità a tutto ciò che sta già facendo la differenza.

At the Wizz Air Milano Marathon 2026 for the children of the Vijayawada slums

In five urban slums of Vijayawada, in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, children and young people search every day for a safe place where they can learn, grow, and dream of a different future.
The context they live in is extremely challenging: child labor, life on the streets, and early marriages are realities they face far too soon.

Yet, it is precisely here that - thanks to your support - we can light a spark of hope: the hope of being heard, cared for, and educated.

Today, we support 1,330 children through after-school programs, creative workshops, nutritious meals, and educational paths that help them understand and defend their rights.

With the Milano Marathon 2026, we aim to strengthen activities in these 8 schools and ensure continuity for everything that is already making a real difference.
