10 Stati da visitare (Italia, San Marino, Austria, Slovenia, Germania, Francia, Belgio, Irlanda, Spagna, Portogallo)

Da appassionato di moto e viaggi, è da anni che pianifico e sogno. Ora finalmente è arrivato il momento di partire! Non è un'avventura eroica, non attraverso nessun deserto ne' tento di battere un record. Spero semplicemente di vedere posti stupendi, percorrere strade curvose da brivido e avere il tempo e la possibilità di leggere, conoscere gente nuova e fare qualche report fotografico.

Ma soprattutto, ne approfitto per fare qualcosa di utile per l'universo, e chiedo a tutti voi di darmi una mano.

Anche in questi anni di giusta e totale attenzione scientifica e mediatica verso il COVID, la lotta al cancro non deve fermarsi. E chiunque può aiutare: non è necessario essere famosi, ne' fare qualcosa di particolarmente impegnativo. E' questo il mio messaggio!

L'AIRC, la Fondazione Italiana per la ricerca sul cancro, ha bisogno di fondi per proseguire nelle sue numerose attività di finanziamento sulla ricerca (vedi www.airc.it per dettagli sulle iniziative).

Io porterò in giro la mia moto "targata" AIRC per l'Europa, e voi potete godervi le mie foto ed i miei reportage direttamente da casa: vi chiedo solo di aiutare facendo una donazione, piccola o grande, in base alle vostre possibilità.

4 months across Europe on a motorcycle

About 15.000 km to ride

11 states to visit (Italy, San Marino, Austria, Slovenia, Germany, France, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, Portugal)

As a lover of both motorcycles and travelling, I have been planning and dreaming about this for years. Now it's finally time to leave! It's not a heroic adventure, I'm not crossing any desert nor beating any record. I simply wish to see amazing places and ride wonderful winding roads; I hope I'll find the time and the chance to read, meet new people and take some photographs.

But, more importantly, I am taking the chance to do something useful for the universe, and I'm asking all of you to help out.

Even in these times of scientific and mediatic attention towards COVID, the fight against cancer mustn't stop. Everybody can help: you neither have to be famous, nor do something particularly challenging. That's my message!

AIRC, the Italian foundation for cancer research, needs funds to continue on its many activities of research funding (visit www.airc.it for more details on their initiatives).

I will ride around Europe with my "AIRC-labelled" motorcycle, and you can enjoy my photographs and reports from home: I'm only asking you to help out by making a donation, small or large depending on your availability.
