Sai perché abbiamo deciso di correre la Milano Marathon 2022?

Perché ci siamo appassionati al progetto I COLORI DELLE EMOZIONI con cui Associazione Mercurio aiuta bambini e bambine a dare voce al proprio mondo interiore e alle proprie emozioni, per accrescere la capacità di ascolto di sé stessi senza paura di essere giudicati.

A causa della pandemia e dell’isolamento tanti bimbi si sono sentiti fragili e smarriti e oggi portano i segni dei disagi psico-emotivi sviluppati in quel periodo. Le loro richieste di supporto sono aumentate, come dimostra l’84% di chiamate in più ricevute da Telefono Azzurro nel 2020 per gesti autolesivi.

Per questo è importante aiutare i giovani a sviluppare strumenti di crescita, come la fiducia in sé stessi e il coraggio di affrontare i propri timori.

Associazione Mercurio lo fa proponendo un laboratorio creativo composto da momenti di gioco, lettura ed elaborazione artistica e narrativa a partire dal libro “Carolina e l’occhio dell’elefante” scritto da Paola Somaini, psicoanalista italiana della British Psychoanalytic Society e amica di Mercurio.

In questo percorso i bambini sperimentano la tecnica dei blind drawings dei disegni eseguiti senza osservare il foglio, una forma di gioco terapeutico che aiuta a entrare in contatto con le emozioni.

Hot Lab lavora da anni nel campo della creatività e abbiamo trovato questo progetto affascinante e coinvolgente e per questo abbiamo deciso di sostenerlo in prima persona. Come contribuiamo? Mettendoci gambe e cuore!

Ad oggi, per l’anno scolastico 2021-22, sono stati coinvolti 750 alunne e alunni e 30 insegnanti delle Scuole Primarie di Milano e Lombardia.

Do you know why we decided to run the Milan Marathon 2022?

Because we are passionate about the project I COLORI DELLE EMOZIONI which Associazione Mercurio helps boys and girls with, to give a voice to their inner world and to their emotions. To increase the ability to listen to themselves without fear of being judged.

Due to the pandemic and related isolation, many children have felt fragile and they bear the signs of the psycho-emotional discomfort developed in this period. Their requests of support have increased tremendously, as evidenced by 84% more calls received by Telefono Azzurro in 2020 for self-harming gestures.

This is why it is important to help young people develop tools for growth, such as self-confidence and the courage to face their fears.

Associazione Mercurio does this by offering a creative workshop consisting of moments of play, reading and artistic and narrative processing. The book "Carolina and the elephant's eye" written by Paola Somaini, an Italian psychoanalyst of the British Psychoanalytic Society and a friend of Mercury helps all our volounteers to help young children in this complex process.

In this path, children experiment with the technique of blind drawings of the drawings made without observing the sheet, a form of therapeutic game that helps to get in touch with emotions.

Hot Lab has been working in creativity world for years and we found this project fascinating and engaging and for this reason we decided to support it personally. How do we contribute? Putting legs and heart into it!

To date, for the school year 2021-22, 750 pupils and pupils and 30 teachers from primary schools in Milan and Lombardy have been involved.
