l'unione fa la forza!

"L’unione fa la forza” è un’espressione un po’ inflazionata. In questo caso, però, è davvero così!
Ci divideremo i 42 km di questa maratona, percorrendoli a staffetta per arrivare al traguardo unendo le nostre forze.
E se il nostro obiettivo è solo arrivare fino in fondo (possibilmente sani e salvi!!), quello di COOPI è ben più grande: dare a 3.750 bambini in Iraq la possibilità di tornare a scuola!!
Sono bambini che oggi non possono andare a scuola perché gli edifici sono stati distrutti dalle bombe, che rischiano la vita a causa delle mine antiuomo inesplose, che rischiano ogni giorno violenze e sfruttamento minorile.

Con una piccola donazione potete sostenere i nostri passi ma sopratutto quelli futuri di molti bambini sostenuti da COOPI che lavora per fornire loro:
1) uno spazio sicuro dove poter fare lezione, ma anche svolgere attività didattiche e sportive, fondamentali per il recupero dai traumi subiti
2) kit scolastici (libri, quaderni)
3) educatori, che possano seguire i bambini nel loro percorso

“Union is strength” or, again, “United, we stand” or  “teamwork makes dream work”: there are many way to say it, and they may be all overused, but in this case, it really is!
We will run the Milano Marathon as relay race,  putting together our energies to make it to the finish line!!
And if our goal is only to get to the end (possibly safe and sound !!), COOPI ‘s objective is much bigger: make 3,750 children in Iraq going back to school !!
Currently, these children cannot go to school because the buildings were destroyed by the bombs: they risk their lives due to unexploded landmines and are exposed to violence and exploitation every day.
With a small donation you can support our team's steps but, more important!, the future steps of many children supported by COOPI that works to provide them:
1) a safe space where they can attend lessons, but also carry out educational and sporting activities, essential for recovering from the traumas suffered;
2) school kits (books, notebooks, stationary);
3) teachers and educators who can support the children on their journey.
