Running Roma for Operation SMILE!
My name is Liz Johnson-Mottola and I am currently an IB Biology teacher and the Director of Service Learning at St. Stephen's School in Rome. This will be my 15th marathon and the 6th time I am running the Maratona di Roma! It's also the first time I have ever done any fundraising through my marathon running! I chose Operation Smile because I want to support the work they do and help more children have the opportunity to SMILE! As the mother of an almost 2-year old beautiful, healthy, smiling daughter, Isabella Ruth, I am also doing this because I am so thankful we have such a healthy and happy kid and I want other parents in need to be able to say the same.
Please help me in achieving my fundraising goals this year and helping children all over the world who are suffering from cleft palate. Thank you!
Sono Liz Johnson-Mottola e io sono un insegnante di IB Biologia e la coordinatrice dello programma di servizio comunitario alla Scuola St. Stephen's a Roma. Questo e' la mia 15esimo maratona e la sesta volta per la maratona di Roma. Questo e' la prima volta che raccolgo i fondi con una maratona. Ho scelto Operation Smile perché vorrei supportare il lavoro di questa organizzazione e aiutare più bimbi e ragazzi avere l'opportunità di SORRIDERE. Sono la mamma di una bimba bellissima, sana e sorridente che ha quasi 2 anni: Isabella Ruth. Sto facendo questo raccolta di fondi perche' sono veramente grata che la mia bimba è sana e contenta e vorrei aiutare a darela stessa opportunità ai genitori con i bimbi con palatoschisi.
Per favore, aiutami in questo obiettivo di raccogliere fondi quest'anno e aiutare bimbi dal tutto il mondo che stanno soffrendo da questa malattia. Grazie mille!
