I'm swimming to help "Women for Girls"!!!

Please help me swim 30 laps on March 17 in Camogli, Italy for this year's Nuotathon ("Swim-marathon" roughly translated) by donating anything you can!

The money raised will finance the following projects:

• La Bada degli Orsi ex Gaslini Band Band (translated "The Bear Band"), a volunteer organization whose mission is to better the welcoming of little guests and their famlies in the Giannina Gaslini pediatric hospital in Genova.
• Women for Girls, an Italian-Senegalese non-profit and their project in Senegal that is working towards guaranteeing education to girls and female teens and illierate women and to keep a small micro-credit project running.
• Associazione Ligura Mare (translated "Ligurian Sea Association"), which is helping oprhan children or children separated from their families who live in orphanages who live in the area affected by the Chernobyl incident and are still living the aftermath.

with $5 you pay for the annual school fees of one girl in the first, second, or third grades.

with $10 you also buy her school books!

with $15 you are giving a woman the chance to take the Women for Girls Coordinator course in the shanytowns to teach illiterate women essential life information: how to prevent HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB, diarrhea, and other diseases.
 
with $75 you can help a mother to start a small business (micro-credit)!
