Ciao amici

Molti di voi sanno quanto ami correre, malgrado il mio ginocchio dispettoso.

Quest'anno ho deciso di correre la  2013 Milan City Marathon Relay per sostenere una Onlus fantastica, art4sport (www.art4sport.com)

L'obiettivo di art4sport è quello di sostenere i bambini che hanno subito amputazioni, avvicinandoli alla pratica sportiva.
L'associazione è ispirata alla storia di Bebe (Beatrice Vio), una ragazza incredibile con tante passioni tra cui quella per la scherma. Alla fine del 2008, all’età di 11 anni, è stata colpita da una grave malattia che ha portato come tragica conseguenza all’amputazione dei quattro arti.
Malgrado questo, nel giro di un anno è tornata alla sua vita di prima e uno dei fattori motivanti che l’ha portata a reagire con forza e determinazione è stato il suo desiderio scalpitante di tornare ancora una volta a praticare il suo amato sport.

Purtroppo in Italia esistono gravi e inspiegabili barriere che rendono molto difficile l'accesso allo sport per questi ragazzi.
Le ASL, per esempio, non forniscono protesi sportive e tutto rimane a carico delle famiglie.

art4sport finanzia l'acquisto di protesi sportive e altri supporti tecnici e organizza momenti ricreativi (canoa, sci) molto importanti per la socializzazione dei ragazzi e delle loro famiglie.

Vi chiedo di supportarmi in questa impresa, donando pochi Euro attraverso questa piattaforma.
E' sicura e semplicissima da usare e basta anche un gesto simbolico.

Al solito, mi sono dato un obiettivo sfidante, stupitemi e aiutatemi a superarlo!

Un vostro piccolo gesto può significare tantissimo.

Many of you know how much I love to run, despite my annoying knee.

This year I will run the Milan City Marathon Relay for Charity and I decided to support an incredible Non Profit organization, art4sport. (www.art4sport.com)

art4sport  aims to support children who have suffered amputations, helping them practice their favorite sport.

art4sport was inspired by Bebe (Beatrcie Vio)’s story, a young girl with many passions among which also her love for fencing. At the end of 2008, when she was 11 years old, she was struck by a very serious illness that resulted in a tragic consequence: the amputation of all four limbs. Nevertheless, within a year after this episode, she had already gone back to living the life she led before. One of the main motivating factors that brought her to react with strength and determination was her immense desire to go back to doing her beloved sport once again.

Unfortunately in Italy there is an absolute lack of support from the National Health System.

art4sports finances sport’s prosthesis and organizes moments of leisure and socialization for an amazing group of kids.
It 'a beautiful project and they need our help.

I ask you to support my running giving a few euro or dollars through this platform of Fund Raising.
It’s very easy and all donations will come directly to art4Sport.
