Siamo una squadra di quattro ricercatori IFOM, provenienti da diversi Paesi ma tutti accomunati dalla grande voglia di fare la propria parte, come ricercatori e come cittadini del mondo.

Ci stiamo allenando per essere l’8 aprile prossimo al fianco di AIRC alla Maratona di Milano 2018 — perché anche i ricercatori sentono lo spirito olimpico!

Ma partecipare alla gara non è tutto: crediamo che il nostro quotidiano lavoro intellettuale non possa dirsi completo senza sforzarci di comunicare “là fuori” tutto il nostro entusiasmo e impegno. Per questo daremo il massimo nella campagna di AIRC contro i tumori infantili, attraverso la raccolta fondi e tramite la divulgazione delle grandi sfide di fronte a noi nella lotta a questo terribile nemico.

Ci vediamo in pista! Noi portiamo le gambe e i polmoni, le idee e l’entusiasmo… aspettiamo il vostro supporto! Le vostre donazioni saranno singole falcate che, brevi o lunghe che siano, ci porteranno tutti insieme più vicini alla linea del traguardo!

We are a team of four international researchers at IFOM, each of us with a different background but all sharing a common goal: do our duty as researchers and citizens of the world.

Our training has already started and on the 8^th of April we will side with AIRC at the next 2018 Milan City Marathon ­—  because researchers feel the Olympic Spirit, too!

However, running is not the whole story. We believe that our daily intellectual endeavour cannot be complete without a great effort to communicate our enthusiasm and commitment to everybody out there in the world. That’s why we will do our best to campaign for AIRC, by raising funds and spreading awareness about the great challenges ahead of us in pediatric cancer.

See you on the road! We will bring our legs and lungs, ideas and enthusiasm: please support us!
