Mi chiamo Andrea Wierer e sono un podista italiano che vive a Stoccolma, in Svezia.

Perché questa corsa? 

La Göteborgsvarvet è la più grande mezza maratona del mondo con i suoi oltre 60 mila iscritti ogni anno: parteciparvi per me è un sogno che si avvera.

Perché raccogli fondi per il Caritas Baby Hospital? 

Perché sono padre di due splendide creature e credo che i bambini siano il nostro futuro; il Caritas Baby Hospital è un simbolo di pace in una terra tormentata dal conflitto e i bimbi di Betlemme hanno veramente bisogno di noi.

Che proposta fai per questa tua raccolta fondi? 

Correrò circa 21 km e vorrei trovare 21 donatori disposti a sostenermi. Ogni donatore può dedicare un chilometro di quelli che correrò per il Caritas Baby Hospital facendo una donazione minima di 7,5 € (il costo di una visita ambulatoriale al CBH).

Who are you?

My name is Andrea Wierer, I’m an Italian runner expat in Sweden.

Why you will run this race? 

Göteborgsvarvet is the world’s largest race: be there will be a dream come true.

Why would you raise funds for the Caritas Baby Hospital?

Because I’m a father of two and I realized that children are our future; Caritas baby Hospital is a symbol of peace in a land plagued by conflict and Bethlehem’s children extremely need our help.

What do you need to reach your goal?

I’m looking for 21 donors: 1 donor for 1 kilometer.

Each donor can support Caritas Baby Hospital with a minimum donation of 7,5 € (amount of a an outpatient visit by the CBH)
