ITALIA UGANDA Onlus nasce in Italia nel 2000 per aiutare la popolazione dell’Uganda, in particolare i bambini rimasti orfani e le famiglie più disagiate.
Ispiratore dell’associazione è padre Giovanni Scalabrini, missionario italiano che ha vissuto in Uganda per più di cinquant’anni, operando per la crescita delle singole persone e lo sviluppo delle loro comunità.

A Kampala e nel Nord Uganda realizziamo progetti nelle aree Salute, Educazione e Sviluppo per contribuire al progresso economico, sociale e sanitario del Paese:

SALUTE - assicuriamo assistenza sanitaria a bambini e famiglie
EDUCAZIONE - costruiamo asili, scuole e collegi e sosteniamo agli studi migliaia di bambini e ragazzi
SVILUPPO - promuoviamo la formazione professionale e sosteniamo il lavoro di giovani e adulti 

In Italia raccogliamo fondi per i progetti ugandesi e promuoviamo laboratori di Educazione allo sviluppo nelle scuole primarie e secondarie.

 

ITALIA UGANDA Onlus was born in Italy in 2000 in order to help the Ugandan population, and in particular orphan children and disadvantaged families.
The inspiration of the association is Father Giovanni Scalabrini, an Italian missionary who has lived in Uganda for more than fifty years, working to foster the growth of individuals as well the development of their communities.

In Kampala and Northern Uganda, we carry out projects in the areas of Health, Education and Development to contribute to the country's economic, social and health progress:

HEALTH - we provide healthcare for children and families
EDUCATION - we build kindergartens, schools and boarding schools, and we fund the studies of thousands of children and youth
DEVELOPMENT - we promote professional training and support the work of young people and adults

In Italy we raise funds for Ugandan projects and we promote workshops of Development Education in primary and secondary schools.
