Nel mondo secondo studi e censimenti effettuati, ci sono più di seicento milioni di persone disabili o con limitata autonomia, dei quali più del 70% con buone disponibilità economiche e di movimento , ma la maggior parte di esse non ha la possibilità di praticare attività sportive o spostarsi come turisti per mancanza di strutture che siano in grado di accoglierle e permettere loro la maggior autonomia possibile.

Oltretutto è ormai innegabile che la possibilità di viaggiare e fare sport migliora notevolmente la qualità della vita e l'integrazione sociale delle persone; a maggior ragione, può migliorare la vita di chi non ha mai avuto i mezzi per farlo.

La Cooperativa INsegnando , che è un'organizzazione non lucrativa di utilità sociale; consapevole di quanto detto sopra, attraverso la figura di Antonio Palmieri ( presidente e fondatore )  si propone come promotrice di un progetto che prevede la realizzazione di un Campus sportivo educativo e riabilitativo, sensibile alle problematiche delle persone con disabilità, che offra la possibilità di praticare sport e turismo alle cosiddette fasce deboli ed anche alla comunità sociale del territorio.

Per l'attuazione di tale progetto, l'ente sta vagliando la possibilità di acquisizione della proprietà situata in via Cascina Merla, 1 ad Angera ( VA ) con lo scopo di creare un centro sportivo, comprensivo di struttura recettiva e distaccamento universitario, usufruibile dai propri associati, da persone con varie disabilità, da sportivi e dalla comunità territoriale

L'intento è quello di istituire un vero e proprio campus modello Americano in grado di promuovere l'integrazione tra persone “abili” e “diversamente abili” cercando di abbattere tutte le “barriere”, siano esse fisiche o culturali, condividendo la passione per lo sport e l'interazione fra diverse categorie .

L'immobile esistente verrà riqualificato e adeguato a struttura recettiva di ospitalità per singoli, famiglie, squadre e gruppi dando loro la possibilità di praticare sport sia dilettantistico che professionistico, effettuare ritiri atletici, organizzare tornei o campionati; o, più semplicemente, trascorrere periodi di vacanza nel senso più ampio del termine.

Il centro verrà anche proposto come meta per gite scolastiche, con la possibilità di avere pacchetti organizzati contenenti attività sportive e culturali.

Si collaborerà sia con le amministrazioni locali offrendo una soluzione alla mancanza di strutture sportive pubbliche nelle vicinanze; che con le associazioni di disabili di tutto il mondo al fine di offrire occasioni adeguate a chiunque ne abbia bisogno.

All'interno dell'area realizzeremo : un palazzetto sportivo da 4/5000 posti, un campo da calcio a 7, un campo di pratica golf, un campo coperto polivalente per allenamenti e verranno inoltre recuperati i campi da tennis e la piscina già esistenti.Sarà anche possibile praticare ciclismo da strada e mountain-bike, canottaggio, vela, immersioni subacquee, equitazione e fitness.Sarà creata una scuola internazionale della lingua dei segni, con insegnati di varie nazionalità, America compresa, aperta a udenti e sordi, un servizio di logopedia e corsi di lingue e codice braille per disabili; gli studenti non residenti potranno alloggiare all'interno del campus, dove pagheranno una retta ovviamente commisurata alla loro situazione soggettiva.

In the world, in accordance with various reports and census, there are over one hundred millions of disabled people, or people living with a limited physical autonomy. More than 50% of this amount a good economical situation and, the majority of this group, doesn’t have the chance to practice sport or to move as tourists for the lack of structures, which would suit their necessities and allow them the most suitable independency, the market moved aroud tourism accessible is more trillion of euro .

Moreover it is undeniable that the possibility of travelling or practicing sport improves the life of everyone and gives the opportunity for a social integration especially to those who don’t have social standard capacity or ability to do it.

The Cooperative INsegnando ’, which is a no-lucrative organization of social utility, considering what has previously been written, offers itself as promoter, in union to the National Body, for a project that aims the realization of a sportive educational and rehabilitative Campus, sensible to the specific problems of those who live with different abilities, and which is going to offer the possibility of practicing sport,  create tourism, offer provisory residential, or  permanent one, to those restricted categories and to the local social communities.

For the realization of this project, the association is considering the possibility of the acquisition of a property located in 1, Via Cascina Merla in Angera (VA) with the purpose of creating a sportive, cultural and educative centre regarding a polyvalent use.  The structure will comprehend  a receptive area, an university sector, to be used by of the associated members, people with different abilities, sportive people, locals or even tourists.

The intention is to build a proper American Campus, able to promote the integration between ‘able’ and ‘different able’ people, intending to destroy all the barriers, being those physical or cultural ones, sharing the passion for sport and the inter-communication among categories.

The already existent structure will be requalified  and made into a receptive category, which will welcome singles, families, teams or groups, giving them the opportunity to practice sport both in a professional or in an amateur way, having athletic camps, organizing tourneys or championships or, even more simple, spend some time on holiday as tourists.

The local centre will also be proposed as a location for school trips, with the included possibility of sportive packets or cultural ones.

There will be a collaboration with the local administrations, which aren’t provided with suitable sportive structures, and with the associations spread all over the world, which take care of people with disabilities. All this with the purpose of offering a place for whom doesn’t dispose of one and, at the same time, creating an economical incoming to the local area and the possibility to be known by different local and non local televisions.

We are looking forward to realizing, in our structure: a sports hall of 4/5000 seats, a football field for 7players, a golf amateur course, a covered polyvalent camp for trainings and, the already existent tennis pitch and the swimming pool, will be renovated.
