Creiamo insieme una via del jazz per far entrare Torino nel circuito internazionale delle strade della musica! 
Le donazioni in progress saranno utilizzate dagli organizzatori per realizzare il progetto di rivitalizzazione della zona, a partire dalla collocazione delle prime 50 targhe dedicate ai jazzisti che sono passati dallo Swing Club tra gli anni 60-70.

CONCEPT

Nel mondo ci sono città che hanno dedicato una strada ai grandi personaggi del cinema, della musica, della danza, del teatro, creando dei segni a testimonianza del loro passaggio.

Anche il jazz ha le sue strade, per citarne alcune: Francemen Street a New Orleans, la 52esima a New York, la 12esima a Kansas City, quella di Bologna intitolata a Lucio Dalla.

A Torino Via Botero, ha ospitato per anni il mitico Swing Club. Da una porticina gli appassionati del genere scendevano verso il palcoscenico che accoglieva molti protagonisti della scena jazzistica nazionale e internazionale.

Il progetto prevede la creazione di una via del jazz dedicata alle stelle che suonarono allo Swing Club! Le azioni previste sono l'installazione di una serie di targhe, alternate sul selciato, con i nomi dei musicisti e le date dei loro passaggi. In progress, con l'avanzamento della raccolta, saranno creati dei supporti per QRcode attraverso i quali attivare on site delle playlist dei musicisti. In ultimo, si intende attivare un'animazione dello spazio pubblico circostante con concerti dal vivo e incontri con i nuovi protagonisti della scena jazzistica odierna.

CONCEPT

Around the world there are cities that have dedicated a street to great figures in film, music, dance, and theater, creating signs to testify to their passage.

Even jazz has its streets, to name a few: Francemen Street in New Orleans, 52nd Street in New York, 12th Street in Kansas City, the one in Bologna named after Lucio Dalla.

In Turin's Via Botero, hosted the legendary Swing Club for years. From a little door, fans of the genre would descend to the stage that welcomed many protagonists of the national and international jazz scene.

The project involves the creation of a jazz street dedicated to the stars who played at the Swing Club! The planned actions are the installation of a series of plaques, alternating on the pavement, with the names of the musicians and the dates of their passages. In progress, as the collection progresses, QRcode holders will be created through which to activate on site playlists of the musicians. Finally, it is intended to activate an animation of the surrounding public space with live concerts and meetings with the new protagonists of today's jazz scene.
