A project by
IST / Fundraising for thirteen children
Since 1998, the International School of Trieste has supported the Institute for Indian Mother and Child (IIMC) through Project for People and the work they do by sponsoring the education of several children.
What started with 8 sponsorships has grown into a 26-year legacy that includes building three schools, and supporting 55 students. IST students and teachers have even been able to visit them in person and witness the institute’s hard work first hand.
Today, we continue this mission for thirteen children - real students with favorite subjects and big dreams.
We are raising funds for Hiran, a bright 7th grader who loves English, and Priyanka, a 10th grader who loves to play badminton in her free time. Click here to find out more about the children IST sponsors at IIMC.
Now, it’s time to put some muscle behind our mission!
The Challenge: How many meters can we row?
On April 18, we are taking to the water—virtually! In partnership with the Saturnia Rowing Club, representatives from every grade or house will compete on rowing machines to complete as many meters as possible.
All funds raised will be managed through this dedicated portal created by Project for People on behalf of the IIMC on Rete del Dono.
Supporters can back their Grade or House with a fixed pledge or a "per-meter" donation. Every donor will be recognized on our official page, showcasing the collective power of our community. Let’s get rowing for education!
Thank you from IST
