Ciao! Sono Marianna e quest’anno ho scelto di svolgere il Servizio Civile con UNICEF, un’organizzazione che per me ha sempre rappresentato un simbolo concreto di difesa dei diritti umani.
L’ho fatto perché voglio contribuire in prima persona e fare davvero la differenza.

Oggi voglio parlarti di una causa che mi sta particolarmente a cuore:
📚 Il diritto all’istruzione delle bambine in Afghanistan.
Da quando i Talebani hanno ripreso il potere, alle ragazze è stato vietato di andare a scuola e di studiare.
Parliamo di 1,5 milioni di bambine private del diritto di imparare, crescere, costruirsi un futuro.

I diritti delle ragazze non possono essere ostaggio di politiche.
Le loro vite, il futuro, le speranze e i sogni sono in bilico.

Immagina dove saresti oggi se il tuo diritto all’istruzione ti fosse stato negato,
immagina di non aver mai potuto leggere, scrivere, esprimerti.

E in questo silenzio, UNICEF c’è:
fornisce materiale scolastico, crea spazi sicuri per imparare, supporta educatrici, protegge le ragazze più vulnerabili.

Forse stai pensando: “È solo una goccia nel mare.”
Ma vivendo questa esperienza da dentro, ti assicuro che ogni aiuto fa davvero la differenza.

Hi! My name is Marianna and this year I have chosen to do my Civil Service with UNICEF, an organization that has always been a concrete symbol of the defense of human rights for me. I did this because I want to contribute personally and really make a difference.

Today, I want to talk to you about a cause that is particularly close to my heart:
📚 The right to education for girls in Afghanistan.
Since the Taliban regained power, girls have been banned from going to school and studying.
We are talking about 1.5 million girls deprived of the right to learn, grow, and build a future for themselves.

Girls' rights cannot be held hostage by politics. Their lives, futures, hopes, and dreams are hanging in the balance.  

Imagine where you would be today if your right to education had been denied, imagine never having been able to read, write, or express yourself.

And in this silence, UNICEF is there: providing school supplies, creating safe spaces for learning, supporting educators, and protecting the most vulnerable girls.

You may be thinking, “It's just a drop in the ocean.”
But having experienced this from the inside, I can assure you that every bit of help really does make a difference.
Even a small donation can rekindle a girl's hope.
